Opt for meeting recordings in calendar

Maximize your team's efficiency by incorporating meeting recordings into your routine. This practice keeps everyone in the loop, even those who can't attend, and allows for focused work on individual tasks.

Why record meetings?

  • ideal for widely relevant sessions like demos, updates, or vision sharing,
  • significantly cuts down on the need for lengthy, crowded meetings.

Record a meeting in your calendar

  1. in Google Calendar, click Start or Join a meeting
  2. at the bottom right, click Activities & Recording
  3. click Start recording

After stopping the recording, a video link will be sent directly to your inbox. The recording itself will be stored in your Google Drive, allowing for easy organization and sharing.

The value of recordings

By recording large meetings, where typically only certain parts are relevant to each attendee, you allow team members to directly access the information they need. This targeted approach not only saves time but also boosts overall productivity by focusing on what matters most to each role.
